Accounting Services Terms

The terms that apply when you use the CAQA Accounting website and engage our accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, payroll, FVRA and advisory services.

These Accounting Services Terms apply when you access or use CAQA Accounting, part of CAQA Groups and an initiative of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238). By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully, respectfully and only for its intended purpose. The information on this website is provided for general information and service-description purposes. Specific terms may also apply to purchases, subscriptions, events, courses, memberships, software, resources, consulting engagements or directory listings. For CAQA Accounting, the specific terms that matter most are the written engagement documents we issue before any accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial viability risk assessment (FVRA) or advisory work begins.

Who this website serves

CAQA Accounting supports registered training organisations (RTOs), CRICOS and ELICOS providers, higher education institutions, education businesses, startups, small and medium enterprises and larger organisations across Australia. The website exists to describe our services, explain how FVRA and finance engagements work, and give you a clear pathway to contact our team. It is not an online store, a client portal or a self-service advice tool.

Services described on this website

Through this website you can enquire about our nine service lines: Financial Viability Risk Assessment (FVRA) preparation; budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management; taxation services including BAS, GST, PAYG and end-of-financial-year reporting; bookkeeping and payroll; business structuring and financial advisory; compliance audits and financial reviews; ASIC, ATO and ASQA reporting; grant and funding application support; and ongoing finance-partner arrangements. Every service is delivered by suitably qualified personnel under a formal engagement, not through the website itself.

How services are engaged

All work starts with a conversation. You can reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page, by email to info@caqa.com.au or by phone on 1800 266 160. We will then confirm your requirements and, where we can help, issue a proposal, quote or engagement letter that sets out the scope, deliverables, assumptions, fees, timelines and responsibilities. No engagement is formed, and no professional obligations arise, until that document is agreed. Our Client Engagement Terms explain the engagement process in more detail.

Fees and payments

No payments are taken through this website. There is no shopping cart, checkout, subscription billing or stored payment facility on any page of CAQA Accounting. Fees for our services are quoted in writing as part of each engagement and are invoiced under the payment terms stated in the engagement documents. Because nothing is sold through the website, no website refund or cancellation policy applies; cancellation and variation arrangements for professional engagements are set out in the relevant engagement documents and in our Client Engagement Terms.

Information collected through this website

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, contact number, organisation name, the service you are interested in and your message. The newsletter form collects your email address. We also use standard analytics technologies to understand how the website is used. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and confidential business information you later share with us during an engagement is protected as described in our Confidentiality Policy.

Your obligations when using this website

You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or misleading enquiries, upload harmful code or use content from the website in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others. Information you provide through our forms should be accurate and relate to a genuine enquiry.

Limits of the information on this website

Content on this website, including service descriptions, examples, statistics and client commentary, is general information only. It does not constitute personal financial advice, tax advice or legal advice, and it does not take account of your organisation's objectives, financial situation or needs. Formal advice is only provided through an agreed engagement by suitably qualified personnel. Regulatory outcomes, including FVRA assessments considered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and decisions of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), are always determined by the relevant authority and cannot be guaranteed. Please read our Tax and Financial Disclaimer before relying on any website content.

The content of this website, including text, graphics, logos and page design, is owned by or licensed to Career Calling International Pty Ltd. You may view, download and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You must not republish, resell or systematically extract website content without our written permission.

Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website content, from website interruptions or errors, or from third-party websites linked from this site. Our responsibilities in relation to professional services are set out in the applicable engagement documents.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Accounting Services Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, the law or our procedures. The version published on this page applies from the date it is posted. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
